First time at Hertz & PB location, there was only 1 person working the counter, people ahead of me waiting for their cars, no problem, I just waited for my turn. The process took just over an hour, so be ready to invest some time. The person helping me was very nice, but the process was painful, she did everything, checked people in/out/ went to get the car, vacuumed/ cleaned & “dry” washes the car, which meant she sprayed down the car with a spray bottle & wiped it clean. Understaffed. Slow, poor service. Nearly impossible to get through to the representative by phone (at took 3 calls and 2 callbacks to connect). Go with Enterprise across the street.
This is for 2667 Garnet Ave. San Diego, CA. Ms. Vanessa did a wonderful job helping me with my rental.
I had a bad experience here about 18 month ago. But my recent rental last week was smooth and hassle free. Car was ready and clean and they even answered their phone when I had a question.
