I made the rental car reservation at Pearson Airport in error and showed up at Billy Bishop Airport to pick up my car. I didn't realize my mistake until I was at the counter and I pulled up the confirmation. Jude assisted me and was able to provide the same car I rented, at the same price, and was overall so incredibly helpful and accommodating that he made what was a very stressful situation into such a pleasant experience. Jude was absolutely fantastic.
Hertz took advantage of me. They charged me double the rate of the online posted rate and charged me for insurance which o verbally denied. Now I’m out over $1,000. My original booking was $1,014, I ended up be charged over $2,800 because the desk agent didn’t not refund or cancel the original booking due to a change. The car I booked wasn’t available and I was forced to upgrade and they charged me for to separate bookings and refuse to refund one of them. Stay far away!!! Staffs are very friendly and efficient. I want to do a shout out to the staffs : PJ, paul and Kajan I think the management should say a few words of encouragement to a good team of staffs So they would know great work get noticed
I rented my vehicle from the Billy Bishop Airport in downtown Toronto, ON and had an exception experience working with Jude from Hertz. He was timely, friendly, patient and easy to engage with. He was a significant contributor to the overwhelmingly positive experience we had with Hertz car rental. If you run into Jude at Billy Bishop Airport, know that you will be well taken care of.
Service was excellent, but inventory was lacking. I reserved a small SUV, got a so-called upgrade to either a minivan or a large SUV.
