Disappointing and shady experience. I returned my car within the 29 minute grace period. Later that day, on reviewing my invoice, I was charged an hour surcharge. Thinking it was an error, I called in to have it resolved and I get told that my actual return time was 20 minutes before than what I was actually told. During booking, they don't tell you when this location is closed so at self-drop off they charge you an extra day!! I would've kept the car if this was noted anywhere. What a scam.
Unfriendly sales agent lady who tried to sell all the unnessessary options and the car fuel level was half empty at pickup. On top of that I had to pay for a mandartory fuel up which I didn’t want but that was not negotiable…
At 4:07pm the lady tells me that she has sent the car i had reserved for 4pm pickup to the airport location. The app is telling me that they will hold my reservation for 2 hours after the scheduled pickup time. Not helpful at all.
We specifically booked a Tesla Model Y from this Hertz location because it was the only branch that had one available for our travel dates. Unfortunately, within 10 minutes of leaving the parking lot, we realized something was seriously wrong with the vehicle.
