I was incorrectly charged a $24.99 refueling fee after returning a rental car, despite clear evidence that the fuel level did not decrease. At pickup, the dashboard showed a remaining driving range of 286 miles. At return, the dashboard showed 303 miles remaining — 17 more miles than at pickup. This alone makes a 2-gallon fuel charge impossible. The receipt later claimed a 15% fuel drop, but the fuel gauge in the return photo remained in the same range band. I rented a car over the phone and was given my car information. But when I got down to the office downstairs? The agent said he didn't have any cars.Available so why rent me a car over the phone and charge me my money and charge me fee even if I didn't get a car not good business practices

I feel compelled to write a review because my experience didn't line up with others. One person was covering both rental locations in Treasure Island (Derek) for my reservation and pickup--both went smoothly. Nothing earth-shattering, but he was patient with my questions, competent, and got us just what we needed. Cars were in stock, no pushy upselling, no issues with the vehicle.
