I had a very disappointing experience with Hertz. After returning the car on time and in good condition, I was surprised to find a smoking fee charged to me, even though I don’t smoke and never have. When I asked about this fee, the staff was unhelpful and rude. They didn’t listen to my explanation and acted like I was lying. It felt unfair and frustrating. My Experienc This was one of the worst car rental experiences I’ve ever had. After returning the vehicle on time and in excellent condition, I was shocked to see a smoking fee charged to my account — even though I have never smoked in my life. I contacted customer service to dispute the charge, but no one seemed interested in listening or resolving the issue. I was treated as if I were lying, which was incredibly frustrating and unfair.
