I made a booking for a car through their website. It is mentioned that i can use a debit card for the booking. Once i got there i was told that it can not be an International debit card. NOWHERE on their website there is any mention of that. Waste of time…
On the morning of Wednesday June 25th, 2025, my wife & I arrived at Hertz on Stark in Portland to rent a car. The associate told us that no cars were available but perhaps, in a couple of hours a return would come back. I asked the associate to check again & it turned out that a car was available. My wife wanted to use her Costco visa for the $1 hold but the associate wouldn’t allow her to because her license had her name as ‘Christine’ & the cc had ‘Christie.’ So the associate said he would wait for her to verify with Costc... read more
