I am writing to share my concerning experience with the accommodation manager, Ann Zemo, during a visit to CareRite Herston Lodge on 11 September 2025. I arrived with my three-year-old son to visit my mother-in-law and began signing in at reception. I have been at Herston Lodge for months now and Herston Lodge has exceeded my expectations. I have my own space, my room, with my own privacy. While also having the support of staff. All the residents are unique and friendly. All the staff, kitchen staff and the chef, and the cleaners, the supervisors and managers, everyone has been genuinely friendly, respectful and kind. I Have been a Resident of Herston Lodge for like 2 and a half years and to Be honest I love This place I am so comfortable here I call this place Home Ann Zemo Jonathan Zemo And Beverly are really good people I think I am Like one of Ann and Jonathan's Favourite Residents I help out the place when I can. I have been a resident here for about 3 months and am extremely thankful that Ann Zemo and her staff welcomed me into their home. I call it a home because it isn't a boarding house or a hostel. Yes.there.are people here that have mental health issues and while some may say I suit the profile I am not a mental health resident. But it has been an eyeopener for me here and I watch everyday as Ann and her team manage the residents with respect and care that is amazing.
