My elderly cat had a seizure or stroke at 3:30am, and they were able to see us right away. My sweet girl was euthanized, but the experience was otherwise top notch. The techs and the vet were kind and attentive, and gave me as much time as I needed to say goodbye. It felt calm, warm, and like home. They gave me an assortment of memorial items, which was appreciated - Frannie left behind a large family who loved her (she was everyone's favorite.) I alwas hear people complain about emergency care pricing, but I thought it was ... read more

Another nearby facility clearly has better leadership and significantly better ratings 4.3 in Veterinary Medicine is not particularly good, in reality below average ,so either the care ,communication or both are relatively inferior.Honestly the picture illustrating 19 staff with only one male and no Doctor atleast present in the picture that looks like they have practiced for any lengthy period of time is odd .minimally and not particularly wise if experience is important and no where is experience more important than emerge... read more

We had to take our dog Harper here after she was having issues with bowel movements. I called and the staff checked her in over the phone and quickly triaged her when we arrived. We got back to a room fairly quick and the overall process of x-rays and her exam took about 3 hours. They sent us home with medications and gave her a few shots in the office. Every employee was extremely nice and caring to our sweet girl who has very bad anxiety at any vet. It was pricey, but the care was great and we highly recommend this vet!

My golden was clearly blocked. She was straining to pee and/or poop. Megan Myers is one of the owners of this ER and she also owns Hershire Vet on Middletown Rd. I’ve used Hershire vets for 10 years and I trust them. When I got to the Hershey ER they triaged her. She had a bladder full of stones (they showed me the Xrays). It was an emergency. They gave us an estimate of cost and explained the cost. Yes it was expensive. I was able to use care credit. The MOST important thing for me was TRUST. I trust Megan Myers judgment. T... read more

I was in shambles when I brought my Frenchie in here to be seen with symptoms of shaking, hardly being able to walk, runny nose, hard time breathing, and vomiting. They triage her and checked her vitals, then brought her back out and said her vitals are fine and there’s a 3 to 5 hour wait. Which three hour week is fine if my puppy is stable, but she wasn’t. I put her on my lap and I checked her gums and they were an ashy grey color and I went up to the nurse, and I explained my concerns with her gum color stating she needs h... read more
