We moved into Heron's Key 3 months ago. Best move we ever made! The staff are great, concerns are addressed quickly, and the food is ourstanding! Plus there are always activities to enjoy or ignore as we choose. We've made friends among the residents, and our cat loves bird watching from our balcony. Downsizing from our large house to a 2-br apartment was a challenge; but knowing that help is always available makes it all worthwhile. If I could award a sixth star, I would!
A five star rating isn't high enough for life here at Heron's Key. I moved in as a Charter Member almost 8 years ago. Each year seems to become better. The activities are unending with special trips to the ballet and museums along with special outings to the horse races and even a train trip to a German Village. But the best part is that I can choose just to remain quietly in my own apartment if I choose to do so. I count my lucky starts that I found Heron's Key.
As a charter member I love living at Heron"s Key. There are so many choices of things to do, places to go, volunteer opportunities, Charities to work with, gardening options and on-going education. But you can do nothing but enjoy life if you choose. It's great!
We are very happy at Heron’s Key. What surprised us was the quality and friendliness of the other residents. AND the quality and friendliness as well as efficiency of the staff. Outstanding food too.
