Update: 1 year later and our windows are still pretty good. One window has developed the locking issues I've seen in other reviews. Looking at it, it seems the seal between the non-moving pane and the sliding pane has come loose and is pushing the sliding pane out some, making the locking mechanism not line up anymore. Beware. We signed a big window replacement contract with Hero Home six months ago, when they came through our area hoping to expand to a new region. Our sales experience was great. Everything since has been dismal. Their follow-up was terrible. The final measurement appointment was rescheduled several times. Then the installation was scheduled, and then rescheduled. We had an extremely disappointing and stressful experience with HERO Home and would strongly caution others before doing business with them. In August 2025, my elderly parents (both in their early 70s) signed a contract with HERO Home for a new front entry door with sidelights and paid a $10,000 deposit. The total contract price was over $20,000. The contract stated installation would occur within 8–10 weeks. I enjoyed both men coming to our home to explain their service when they saw the holes in the siding. Loved the product and they were able to answer every question my mom or I had for them. Love the fact they had a similar color to the siding my mom wanted to keep. I usually don't answer the door for salesmen but thankfully I did. I can not wait for them to start our project.
We had a great experience with Drew and Neil. They were knowledgeable and respectful of our time. They helped us discover a plan that worked for us!
