Terrible experience. These people are scam artists. If you keep the service, you are okay, but once you want to end, the BS starts rolling, and they never return calls or emails. I am still waiting to hear from someone named Eve regarding my card being charged, despite my service being suspended. Update: Hero sent them an email, finally, and said all errors would be corrected, but guess what, they still deducted $244.95 from my account for a service I never had. Phone calls from this company are very annoying! If you don’t want to be bothered every week don’t sign up for their services. I’ve been annoyed and harassed on several occasions. To be told that my insurance company is requesting that they harass me. I’ve spoken with them repeatedly and can not get any resolution. I travel, have been hospitalized on several occasions and my medication changes constantly. They want me to advise them of all these incidents vs getting the update monthly as my insurance requires. This device seriously changed my life as a caregiver for my mom. I get up to the minute details in her medication compliance, and if she’s late I can call her and say ‘hey don’t forget your meds in your hero!’ For any caregiver or person wanting to help their loved one maintain their independence this is a must!
Updated review 2 years later- this place is 100% a scam that preys on the ill. They are money hungry and dont have any real customer service. They threaten sending bills to collections but never send me a way to ship it back. I havent used this product for over 3 years and i am STILL battling with them. I wanted to be done with it for so long so i literally just ignore them now. I could 100% them for everything they have done. To treat me, a paying customer like trash. BUYER BEWARE!
