Review of GoHero I had a disappointing experience with GoHero regarding a leg brace for my dog. Despite several attempts, they were unable to create a suitable brace. Instead of addressing my concerns, the company often suggested physical therapy or provided various reasons why my dog couldn't wear the brace. I would NOT recommend GoHero, as they seem to disregard the dog's owner's concerns and fail to acknowledge when the dog is in pain. Instead, they frequently make excuses. I originally wanted to get a brace for my dog since he tore his ACL. I wanted to try physical therapy, a brace and anti inflammatory medications. I really didn't want do surgery. I ordered the brace and was having difficulty with doing the cast because my vet refused to do it. I decided to do it myself since I am a nurse and figured it couldn't be that difficult. The braces are good but their customer service is not good. I had a brace made for my dog and I received it and things were good. My dog has cancer so she had no option for surgery. My dog ended up tearing the other ACL 6 months later and I spoke with Ashley at Hero and they said they could duplicate the brace I had for the other leg. If you love your dog, and do not want to see her in even more pain, do not buy this overpriced brace. Our black lab-shepherd completely tore her ACL on her right leg. Our vet from **************************** in German Valley, Illinois recommended a Hero Brace instead of surgery. We spent over $800 for a "custom made" brace. We waited almost a month for it to arrive. Our dog used it for less than two weeks, and the velco fell off the middle part of the brace while we were at work.
