Stayed here in 2006 after my sister’s wedding at Inlet Seafood - amazing after party on the beach until sunset, and the rooms were great as well! The owners also have two Grenadiers - very capable vehicle! Good for off-roading - we’ve taken ours to Moab once and Ouray, Colorado twice. You point the vehicle and it goes.

We came during the winter holidays. We called ahead to see of we could have a room downstairs and to ask about coffee, a fridge and if there would be a microwave in the room. The hostess called back and explained the room comes with a small fridge, and they would give us a microwave. She was very pleasant and said we already had a room on the lower floor next to the ramp. I will start by saying we had a 5/5 experience. However, I would not say this is a 4 star hotel- closer to a 3 but a very lovely 3! There is definitely some maintenance/upkeep needed. Our bathroom light was flickering, bathroom hooks falling out of the wall. Some paint touch ups needed, etc. the bean bags (while ridiculously comfortable) smelled of mildew. Super cute boho-chic vibe, friendly staff, and a lovely courtyard. Easy walk to the beach, nice complimentary drink, and I’d definitely stay here again!

We have been staying at Hero Beach Club every summer since 2017 when the hotel opened. I booked a stay this August over the phone, paid in full, and received an email confirmation with the agreed price. I was told we would need to change rooms after the first night over the phone, which was fine, and this was confirmed upon check-in. When we arrived at the hotel, no one was at the front desk for about 15 minutes. Eventually, we checked into our first-floor room.
