Our experience with Herndon homes was horrible to say the least. More mistakes than I could write in this post. Plus major cost overruns and hidden charges. Some examples- paid for class 4 shingles per our contract and got a lower grade. Kitchen was laid out wrong just enough that you couldn't tell until after the cabinets came in the wrong size.
