This place is terrible. I had been told by my regular Opthamologist that I had cataracts and needed a lens implant. My insurance authorized the surgery. Unfortunately this was during COVID and they were understaffed and the wait time for surgery was substantial so I made an appointment to see Dr Cacoppo at Hernando Eye institute. He ran every test in the place you with his antiquated equipment and even sent me for an MRI of the optic nerve which of course had a copay only to tell me that everything was fine.
