I started working for Hernandez Healthcare Billing in the middle of the pandemic. Dorothy took me and trained to bill for a pediatric cardiologist and I was exposure to infectious disease specialists, physical therapy, behavioral health and substance abuse billing. Her mission was to hire people like me with no knowledge of medical billing, train us and have us move on to better paying jobs with good benefits.
