Before visiting this Hermès boutique, I had read several reviews and was fully expecting terrible service — rude, unhelpful, and condescending staff. To my surprise, it was quite the opposite. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and received impeccable service throughout. A truly pleasant experience that exceeded my expectations.
My aunt wanted to purchase a garden bag which the store had in stock and the associate Cara or Kara was one of the rudest sales associate we’ve ever encountered at a luxury store. She made sure to make us feel as if we didn’t belong and as if we couldn’t afford the bag. After misquoting the price of the bag, she ultimately charged us incorrectly and gave us the wrong bag, we now need to go and return this bag, after running through 3 stores in town.
Our visit at Hermes at The Wynn/Encore was right out of the scene in the movie Pretty Woman wherein Julia Roberts goes into to buy clothes, and is shamed out. My Fiancee and I are casino guests at the Wynn, and we decided to go shopping in the mall where Hermes and other high end stores are. staffs avoid eye contact. not welcoming. rather be with phone than customer.
I was skeptical to visit this location ( I went to the Billagio the day before) but I thought to give it a go. I visited this store this a.m. and the service was genuinely great. I went in to try on a different size in the oasis sandal. Upon my arrival I was greeted and was told I needed to go upstairs.
