I was visiting the South Bay for a couple of days and an old friend had planned a ride for us, so I called Hermosa Cyclery to reserve a road bike. When I arrived at the shop they were pretty busy but everything was ready and they took care of me right away. i brought my own pedals which they attached to the rental and adjusted the saddle. The KHS 450s they rent are certainly a step down from my usual ride but adequate for the 40 miles or so I put on the almost new bike. The return was handled as efficently as the pick-up. Very friendly staff, good bikes, and automatically gave us a 10% discount for checking in online, even though we didn't know about that offer! Only gripe would be the comfort of the bike seats for extended usage.
I've been going to Hermosa Cyclery for years. By far the most knowledgeable and helpful bike shop that I've ever been to! Always a great experience, always a fun way to explore the South Bay with one of their rental bikes. I recommend the cruiser hybrid, tons of fun!
These guys Hooked me up for the 3rd time today :) Cant thank you enough for getting me home fast and safe! If i'm in the South Bay area, i will always pass all the others and come to Hermosa Cyclery because they just are the way you want your bike shop to be.

This place was stellar, reasonably priced and they give you a discount if you check in 😊 Service was quick, bicycle was great. Big comfortable seats, a basket for personal items, and the bell came in handy when trying to pass pedestrians on the strand.
