I was a little nervous for my appointment based on the reviews, but am happy to say that I did not have the same experience as what others posted. I made an appointment over the phone. On the day of, check-in was quick (no others in the lab waiting room), waited in the mammogram waiting area for 2 minutes, and was done and out the door 15 minutes later. The tech was really nice and patient.
The only star is for Vicki (I think that’s her name), and the ladies at the desk. When I went for a diagnostic mammogram, ordered by my physician due to symptoms, the tech decided I didn’t need a mammogram. She seemed to have a problem the moment I entered the room. They told me “too much radiation”, however, when researching this claim, I found it to be FALSE. Do not go here. The waiting room looks like Times Square on NYE. I was asked to sit on the FLOOR in a GOWN because there were no seats left. I had to hold my bra and shirt out in the open because there were no lockers. Absolutely horrifying, dehumanizing experience.
