It saddens me to write this. I’m not a rich person. This trip was a big deal for me. I spent almost $400 on my one night stay here with my best friend. I love history and old things, and this mansion has been on my radar for a long time now. I wish now that I had read the reviews before coming so I could be prepared for Kim’s attitude. I just got married here! The place is beautiful and the cook, along with Victoria, were amazing! Unfortunately that’s about the only thing I can compliment. Perhaps it’s my own fault, being that I ignored her major red flags! She was inappropriate when I showed her a picture of my now husband. She questioned about his genitalia making both me and my photographer uncomfortable. She refused to give me a formal contract even though I asked multiple times for one. My daughter's wedding was recently held here. The grounds were lovely, the rooms were very clean. The breakfast was delicious. However, I would not recommend anyone having their wedding here. Kim is very difficult to work with. She would say one thing and then change it later. She would agree to what we wanted and then later act like she had no idea what we were talking about.
