Heritage woods of Watseka is a very good home for seniors. It's clean, and the residents are well cared for. My mother was a resident in memory care for three years. The director is Terika. She always went above and beyond to help me with anything I requested. I really like her personality. She is professional and calm. She always follows up. The CNAs are the backbone of any facility. Families beware. They give the impression they care. When all they care about is the money. We placed our mom in the facility october 2023. She has demitia. We were also a self pay account. We paid 7100.00 per month for her care. As a result of her disease she ended up in the hospital on 2/29. She was inthe hospital for over a week. We were advised by a new facility on 3/15 she would be moving on 3/19. Not by Herirage, but the new facility. Not even calling us. Again we had already paid 7100 for her care for March. Heritage Woods had a Trunk or Treat for the kids. We went an both boys I took enjoyed that the residents were enjoying themselves. They waved an waved to them. Some pictures were taken was wondering if they will be posted ? Wonderful job to all who organized this event.
I had the pleasure of working at Heritage Woods of Watseka this summer. It brought me complete joy seeing the relationship that this team of professionals had fostered with the residents. I always felt welcome; being a newcomer, it is not always that simple. I would highly recommend this facility as a place of residence or employment.
