While the doctor was kind and explained everything thoroughly; his staff, specifically NP, seemed hesitant to respect my wishes as my child’s parent to not transport to ER. I understand the medical professionals ensuring the safety of my child’s parent; however, I also do not feel it was appropriate for the nurse to continue trying to pressure me to change my stance. Dr Sutton did a great job assisting me with a truly scary situation. I was worried to go to the urgent care since I have many autoimmune disorders and sometimes the emergency providers make you feel a lil embarrassed since autoimmune disorders symptoms can come off strange. He listened to me and I am grateful for that didn’t just push me off with pain meds he gave me something to treat the issue. Thank you for listening without judgement this is what our emergent medical care providers need to get better at.
