I’m very sad to say this but I wish they would wash my aunts blankets when I went to visit her blankets looked dingy and dirty given that she was already sick with the flu, Blankets need to be washed ASAP! Especially if she was sick, she would just get sick again. Also, when I went to go visit her, I looked at her feet to see if her Were warm because she had been laying down I asked her how she was feeling she said OK when I looked at her feet, she had little socks on for like a baby. Last year, this was the nastiest facility that I personally have ever had to walk into. If I could rate it a zero I would. There have been a lot of renovations in the last 15 months or so but fresh paint doesn't fix internal issues nor staff/patient care concerns. The kitchen and food prep is still sub-par. Even clients that have been living there long term have shared horror stories they have witnessed. It is very heartbreaking to have been forced to see and hear what I did. My 74 year old mother has been suffering from dementia and she was an Alvarado meadows. That place was horrible. They were killing my mom. She is way better in heritage's trails They are taking good care of her. The place is clean and they attend to her and don't neglect her. My mom had a bed sore so big. It spreaded from hip to hip. There was fluid in her lungs and fluid around her heart they were not rotating her properly, they were not caring for her properly.She was being neglected in Alvarado.Meadows, heritage's trails ... read more
