The first time I bought a home, it was easy and everything went smoothly with no stress at all. But when I went to buy my second home, we used Heritage Title, and it was nothing but stressful. First off, the main person we were dealing with was out sick, so either no one at Heritage Title knew what they were doing or they just didn’t care. Horrible communication
I was a home seller and therefore forced to use the Settlement/Title company that the buyers selected. I know it is a small amount of money at only $58.46, but Heritage Title collected too much money from me relative to my final water bill and refuse to acknowledge that this refund is owed to me and should not have went to cover the first month's water bill for the new homeowners.
