Great place. Fellowship and pleasant environment for sll.
Went today and helped my mom sign up for some stuff. She is excited and wants to do some of the programs they offer. Plus they hv transportation for those in need of it. She isn't able to hop busses like she used to. They hv a gospel singing mornig. History mtgs, Field trips (those r extra $) but all in all she is ready to get out of house
If you live in or near Irving, TX, you really should drop by the center -- if for no other reason than to visit the Gift Shop. All the items are handcrafted by center members, many so beautiful and useful, very well priced -- and unique. It is really worth a look-see, and you don't need to be a member to shop there. Give it a try.
