I was admitted first week of May after shattering my knee. Now I understand how people go to a nursing home for a knee injury and either lose their leg or die. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there. - [ ] Toilet bad handrails after having to hop on one foot pass the ruts in the floor, I had to try to lean backwards and lower myself onto a standard height toilet and hope I didn't fall. My mother, Frances Burhenn, was here during the last 6 months of her life. It had gotten to a point where I could no longer take care of her. The staff at Heritage were caring and loving toward my mother. She was well taken care of and they called if there was ever any questions as to her care. They helped make the last days of her life far more comfortable. Thanks!
