Called to get a delivery of gas. Because my tank is at 40%. Customer service told me it will be a $300 fee if they come and the tank is not empty. I don’t like to wait until it is empty because it makes me have to pay a lot of money at one time and makes me nervous about running out. Very bad customer service. Last month it cost me $800 and that is not easy to pay. Last time they filled up my tank it was almost empty and that was when it was so cold.
Received an email on Jan 17 that delivery of gas would be on Jan 18. On Jan 18 received an email that delivery would be rescheduled between Jan 20 and 27, 2025. In the meantime AmeriGas was delivering to my neighbors! Very inefficient as you could have delivered to my house as well! Here we are on Jan 28 and still no delivery. We called two weeks ago for delivery. We were given a window of January 21-January 23. We were advised they would be coming on January 22 via text and no one showed. We called , and were placed on hold for 20 minutes and 1 hour and were finally told that someone would be out on the 23rd. We received another message that someone would come on the 23rd. Paid $300 to have an urgent delivery and still haven't received it. We have had no heat for 3 days in below freezing temperatures. I was just informed today that the branch the delivery was supposed to come from is closed today. So it'll be another day at least. These people don't care, and I will be looking for a new company.
