My wife and purchased our own 250 gallon propane tank in 2004 when we bought our home and had it buried. We bought the tank from Empire Propane who was later purchased by Heritage Propane who was then purchased by Amerigas. We have used Empire Propane and Heritage Propane for the entire 10 years we have owned our property.
