This Google review to give another form of communication to request the propane tank to be removed from my property. I have requested communication with Paul and Teresa, the area supervisors/managers, multiple times. This was done via the resolutions and escalations departments located at the Amerigas headquarters in Cleveland, OH. These requests were made on the following dates; June 23rd, 28th, 29th, and July 8th and 20th. I have not received any calls from there as per my request. Absolutely the worst gas company that I have ever dealt with. I wanted my tank moved up hill a little and they wanted $1000. I decided to go with another gas company who wanted $200 to set a new tank. I called to cancel my account with heritage propane and they want $150 to come get their own tank. I called to cancel in February 2022 and their tank is still sitting in my yard with 40% gas still in the tank.
Listed my house for sale and they refilled the tank without anyone being home or a phone call. We were NOT on auto refill and have never been. Now they refuse to refund the $800 bill and offered to to give the new owners a $200 gift card plus 50% off their first fill up. They refuse to pump off the tank they filled without permission and now are going to double dip and sell the tank they charged me for to the new owners for a reduced rate.
Been out of propane for 7 days!!!!! Requested a refill 2 and a half weeks ago! Calling everyday but they don't care. So irrisponsible.
