AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Amerigas abuses their customers. Last year, they sent someone to retrieve the tank without our instructions. it was their mistake. It was a 2-month hassle to get a tank reinstalled and we lost money because they gave us less credit for the gas in the tank than we paid for it originally. Their prices are always $0.50 per gallon higher than the NC average if you are stupid enough to pay it. After over 25 years of being a customer and paying on time AMERIGAS treated me horribly this past year, by changing our agreed upon contract. And now they want to charge me to switch vendors. Switching to OFF SHORE customer service has the made process of communicating with AMERIGAS harder, and many times, can not understand the language. I have had to be hold for over 30 minutes 3 times this last year trying to straight things out, and still no luck. Cannot talk to anyone in the USA. Been a customer for 25 years before Amerigas. They have no concerns for loyalty. Can care less about your concerns. Save yourself and check other companies first.
