Had my 73 plate Škoda superb serviced on the 16th July 2025 and advised the service department of a wobble coming from the rear that needed investigating and watched the service manager write a note on the service sheet for attention. The vehicle was given to them defective and returned to me defective as no fault was found. The wobble persisted until the 31 July, 15 days after the inspection when the rear drivers inner wall of the tire gave up and blew out. My partner and I paid £500 on a deposit for a new car over the phone on Thursday at around 5.45PM. The salesman congratulated us on acquiring the car and told us he'll send more info over. On Monday afternoon, they called us to say the car had been sold, and offered us a different car that didn't fit our specs.
