Place was highly recommended on social media and I’m glad I went and tried! Food was phenomenal, and the waiters were all attentive and kind.
We got the dal tadka, paneer pasandada, garlic naan, and it was really delicious. We asked for it to be spicy and was totally satisfied with the food after traveling all day to get to mirror lake. While I tried different spots in lake placid/mirror lake area, I found myself wanting to revisit this spot and got take out the next day as well. Definitely worth trying! You will not regret.
We were the first guests of the evening and walked into a beautiful, upscale restaurant. The person who greeted us didn’t say hello. Just picked up menus and walked off, expecting us to follow. It was an odd start that set the tone for the rest of the meal. The atmosphere felt high-end, but the service was nearly nonexistent. The food itself was excellent, but the overall experience didn’t match the fancy setting.
Stellar food with just the right amount of spice. Tasty but not burn my face off. Service was… adequate? Was not overly personable but got the job done. Wasn’t busy either, yet had to flag the server to both order food and ask for the check. Beautiful space though and offers a nice setting for eating in.
Surprisingly great Indian food at lake placid!! Malai kofta & Kadhai paneer were highlights.
