I was tiered and needed a good nights sleep after driving 900 + km. Room is tiny, stale smell, carpets are filthy, shared bathroom filthy, tv sitting on a desk resting against the wall, didn’t even bother fixing to tv bracket. THE NOISE !!!!! Why on earth do they have rooms if all they worry about is entertaining young kids with over the top heavy bass music. I’m leaving this review in the room very tired but unable to sleep or watch tv as the noise from the doof doof machine is over bearing.
TV in room only has 4 channels and not tuned in properly and function to retune does not work. Very old hotel if you like heritage places. I did book a single room but got upgraded before I even arrived so thank you.

The staff are bullies. I left crying and embarrassed. When i tried to then fix my issue over the phone I was met with constant belittling, harsh words, no help and lies. I would never recommend this place to anyone. One night did enough damage. The Heritage Hotel Rockhampton’s staff are what make this place horrendous.
Met friends here for dinner. Great service and the steak was cooked spot on. Thursday night is half price steaks 👌 Staff were friendly and helpful. Certainly will return.
