This was an unexpected pleasure. On the way to Augusta we needed a place and stop to eat, and though it was on our direct route, it seemed worth trying. We found the staff friendly and helpful. It is basically a farm to table restaurant with different inventive menus created by the chef, Chris, every week. The Heritage Hawkinsville is easily the best restaurant in Georgia! The owners have been chefs all over the world and we are so lucky they have came here to South Georgia to open such a fantastic restaurant! The menu changes weekly, they have the best cocktails around, and it's by far the best atmosphere to enjoy such a fine meal! I believe they deserve a every award a restaurant can acquire!
