While in HH for vacation, our Boston Terrier,(Mollie), had a corneal scratch. They were able to fit us in that afternoon (and a very busy day there). The staff was excellent from the front desk to the vet techs, and especially Dr. Latham. She came into exam room and sat on the floor with Mollie and her assistant. Spent a lot of time with us explaining situation. Received meds, and a follow up visit. Very grateful for such great care!!

I have been with Heritage for over 20 years they have great vet dr., but My dog had an ear issue and was treated and recovered, but it is back and I to called to get the medication and called them three times without any response. I told them I live on a fixed income and I did not have the funds because I just had to put my 18 year old cat down. Have used Heritage for over 5 years for three dogs and a cat. Never considered it an issue but they almost always insisted on seeing the animal before prescribing any medication. This time our 190 lb Mastiff came up lame with an infected toe, exactly as about a year ago, same toe. Could we get Heritage to call in an antibiotic? Answer NO. Only problem this time is that my wife just had a knee replacement and there is no way we can load the poor dog into a car to transport her. After pleading our situation and listening... read more
