This Vet held my dog hostage over $20. I lost my wallet in Texas and I was $20 short the fee to pick up my dog. It was explained by Dr. Hergenrether himself that all the money was due at the time of pick up and if I can’t pay he will be finding a new home for my animal and he is well within the means of law to do so. I tried to tell him I would never leave them high and dry and to please please allow me some time but they made it very clear if I didn’t pay I don’t get my dog.
I have been taking my furkids to Dr. H & Dr. U for a few years now. I would never go anywhere else. They treat my dogs like family and always put the dogs best interest first. The staff is wonderful & caring, I never feel unwelcomed.
I have been taking my two kitties to Dr. Hergenrether for their care since they first came into my life, almost five years ago. I can honestly say that Hergenrether Animal Hospital provides the best care that I have experienced. I highly recommend them!
John was our vet before he opened his own practice, I followed him because he's just so wonderful and caring. He is definitely not in the business only for the money, he truly cares about each and every "family member" brought in to be seen. I have had pets in Lawton for the last 20 years & I have never had a better veterinarian!
My dog Meko was really sick they got me in with the whole day booked and after hours! The doctor stayed late to help me ! I used the free 1st visit cupon I got on there website. The staff seemed very caring for my puppy , and they were very nice and polite to me. Being this is my first time dealing with a vet being 21 , I am satisfied with the whole picture at Hergenrether. They also gave me a free leash too lol.
We have a large male Rottweiler. In general, everybody is intimidated. John was our Vet before He opened His own Facility. Our dog just loves him. He is also an excellent Doctor. We recommend him to anybody.
