Had a really disappointing experience with this moving company. As someone who has gotten movers every time I have moved, these were by far the worst movers I have dealt with. To begin, their attitude upon arrival was extremely rude and as if they were doing me a favour by being there. Throughout the move, the main mover whom I communicated with was very rude not only to myself but also was noted by my neighbours after moving. An amazing moving experience.
TL;DR: overpriced for quality of service; my shipment was split up; they lost my bike (eventually recovered) and two boxes of irreplaceable personal items; they do not scan items at different points when your items might be unloaded en route so there is no chain of possession; QR code and labelling system is useless and all for show; you’re paying for good marketing re: only using their own trucks and personnel - it doesn’t matter at all. Dishonest, overcharges after cheap quotes and will withhold delivery while threatening extra charges. Expect damages to your own moving property as well as to your home at pickup and delivery. Will never admit to any responsibility or wrongdoing despite evidence. Low one star reviews are genuinely the same experience to expect. Expect extra charges, forced decisions at customers expense, and claims department is as useless, righteous and malicious as ever. Classic moving tactics.
Everyone I dealt with at Hercules was friendly, organized, and 100% professional. They obviously cared about doing everything right, and that's how it all went. With very reasonable billing. Best movers ever. One of the best customer experiences of any kind I've ever had.
