Stumbled on this restaurant on Google maps and I'm like what?! A Nigerian restaurant this good and I don't know about it? I know where wifey and I are going Friday night. Just drove 40 minutes to the place, 10 of those on bumpy Briar Forest, only to find the place shut down by the city, likely over several months ago. The place looks drab and deserted. Either way I'm not checking back.
Unfortunately it’s closed. I live in neighborhood and go there often hoping to get food. Called number, no one answered the phone. Too bad.
Attended the Yuletide event with teammate, food was spicy yet tasty. Impressive aura and decor, uncommon drinks. Demeanor of apparent operator and mixologist was one of servitude. Quite a memorable HTX experience.
