Well, I truly don’t know how to thank him for all he’s done for us - when my baby boy was born the delivering doctor crushed his skull with the forceps and then began denying anything was wrong… for three months as my baby boy grew his skull fused together but the dent of the crushed skull from the four steps was still there. I am truly grateful that Dr. Fuchs did my baby boy’s surgery. It was so scary but he gave me so much peace. Dr. Fuchs and the “Dream Team” took meticulous time and made sure everything was addressed during surgery. I have a new son and they saved his life.
Would 100 percent not let him operate on my child if I had it to do over. This was years ago, early 2000s, but the more than 10 hours my daughter was in surgery (extremely hard on her) told me he had no idea what he was doing. He scheduled another surgery later without informing us, and when we cancelled to go to a better surgeon at NYU he literally yelled at my husband and said we would regret it and my daughter would pay the price. The breathtaking arrogance.
Enjoyed being a patient there, the only thing I would recommend is to have two or three patient account reps at the desk because several times I have come to the clinic and waited for a hour or two and even got lost and couldn't get back to my car and got lost in the parking lot.
Dr. Fuchs brought our daughter through a 5 hour brain surgery to remove a 3cm tumor that was touching her brain stem. He brought her back to us and we are forever grateful.
