Been going here for 2-3 years. They have been mostly good and the doctor is great but they sent in a script and then tried to cancel it because they wanted payment for appointment. You don’t do that. Super petty behavior by office staff. Long story short… I only got half my script and they were trying to hold the other half for 15 days messing up my dosage schedule. I’ve had a really positive experience with Provider Matheri. He takes the time to truly listen, understand my concerns, and explain things in a way that feels helpful and reassuring. I appreciate how thoughtful he is with feedback, medication management, and follow-up. I’ve felt supported, heard, and more confident in my progress.
Heramba mental health was great- until it wasn’t. I was in a car accident and had to miss my appointment. I was STILL charged a no show fee. Fast forward, I reschedule the appointment, have the appointment, and tell Dr. Yao that I stopped the new medication because of side effects and am continuing on what was previously prescribed to me and have been stable with that. Not great w communication. There’s a language barrier. Hard to get an appointment when needed also was prescribed medication that wasn’t covered by my insurance and never got the meds and still waiting 6 days no meds
Psychiatric appointments are only about 10-15 minutes long and scheduled every 2 months. Despite that, they WILL charge you for missing an appointment (even if it's the day after Christmas as I have found) and they WILL force you to wait until the next appointment in order to get a refill on your medication if you missed one. So now I'm without a paddle for a solid couple of weeks because God forbid I miss a half-assed 15 minute appointment the day after Christmas. Besides that, some weird scheduling with this place.
