Today I left this salon fuming on the inside.I've never felt so disrespected by someone doing my hair before and I will just have to find someone else for my hair needs. Jonathan Stewart burns my scalp with a flat iron and I turn to notify him that he hit my scalp. He replies that's the heat and tell me to keep my head straight (as if it were my fault). Beyond troubling. Let me start off by stating Derickus is a great stylist and treats his clients with respect, however, the stylists under him are disrespectful. Kenchatta, for example, tried to charge me for two perms because my hair is thick. In all my years of getting a perm, I’ve never been charged for having thicker hair. Mind you, my hair is only neck length (a bob). After paying for two perms and saying I’d follow up with the owner, Dericuks, she promptly called me to refund the extra perm charge.
