I’ve been a member at Her GYMVMT Westbrook for a few years now, and I wanted to share some honest feedback because I genuinely care about the gym and the environment it used to have. I just joined this gym and did the Lift class today. It was great. It was really a workout. The instructor pushed us but was really positive. The space was a good size for a class and the equipment was in excellent condition. While it was my first class at the gym, I definitely am eager to try others.
Very fraudulent company. Their policy says to give them a 30-day notice not to renew your contract. I gave a 90-day notice and was charged an extra $42 after my contract expired. They claim is for facility usage which was paid at the beginning of my contract.
Let me start by saying that I really enjoy other Gymvnt locations. But this location is complete rubbish. If you're interested in leaving the gym in a worse mood than you were when you got there, look no further. This is the only gym location where the trainers train huge groups multiple times a day and take up huge areas / multiple pieces of equipment for extended periods of time. They set up their group sessions in the middle of the track so you cannot use the sled, and on multiple occasions, I've been told that I cannot u... read more
Gracious is amazing and I would recommend her as a trainer. Josephine at the front desk is always so friendly and accommodating. The gym itself is always super clean and in pristine condition. Best gym I’ve ever went to.
