History Established in 1956. Established in 1956. Heppner's Auto Body was founded by Elmer Heppner in 1956 in the Midway neighborhood of St. Paul, MN. Bill Klatt bought the shop from Elmer in 1985 and since then, the Heppner's name has grown to include 5 other locations. After Bill passed away in December 2011, his wife Linda and daughter Laura Jacobson have taken over as owners. We have been trusted by generations of families and look forward to serving your family as well.

I was/am extremely pleased and would not hesitate to use Heppner’s Midway again. I brought in my very, very old Subaru Forester which had multiple damage: bumper, headlight, grille, radiator support, cooling, fender and more….. They were forthright and realistic with the work they had to do with estimates, and timetable. Communication was good and they kept me informed all along the way.
