So many things wrong with this treatment centre. First, a 19 day program is an absolute joke, no one can be successful in such a short amount of time. Second, allowing clients to have their cell phones is so wrong, how can they focus on their recovery when they are still connected to the outside world??? Third, there are many clients who form relationships while there, again not even focused on their recovery when they are trying to navigate a relationship, sick attracts sick. I went to henwood years ago.. I had a breakdown as soon as I entered their house because it was far too fancy as a house for me.didnt feel good.enough.or valued..but I settled in and at first felt welcomed and that I deserved it..finally the.one on one counseling started..and I actually felt very safe..and man did I cry I lost control.balling..never cried.like.that in my life.
