Be very wary should this guy recommend your loved one for surgery, and seek a second opinion. He is cut happy. My loved one went for a post ER visit follow up. Was told he needed surgery and was immediately scheduled. When the PA first came in and said he didnt. But the doctor said he did after a brief interaction. No diagnostics. Rushed through the appt. Went to another doctor for a second opinion who said the problem does not exist and surgery isnt warranted.
Dr Schoonyoung did literal ground- breaking surgery with 3 other specialists each in their fields to save my 47 year old daughter's life in a 14-hour surgery. All due to crohns disease. Unbelievable and incredible are not enough to describe his expertise in his field, and his getting the best doctors in the Philadelphia area to each perform what I call miracles to correct my daughter's diseased body. This Doctor is the best at his specialty and very friendly and told my family everything he needed to do during my surgery. I’d recommend him to anyone needing Colon Rectal surgery.
