This Dr has the personality of a rock which he surrounds himself with in his office. He eats in front of you and will not let you speak your mind. Very controlling and not willing to work on what patient asks for rather only what he decides. Do your homework and find someone better and caring.

I have seen other psychiatrists over the years, but I have found Dr. Storper to be very kind, calming, and warm. It took me awhile to feel more comfortable telling him all my symptoms (I didn't want to him to think I was toooo crazy and refuse to see me--LOL). We've been working together for almost a year now and I can honestly say, I am looking forward to life and working towards my personal goals. It is work, but I feel like we are working together and he is a great support. Thank you.
Dr Storper is truly amazing! I read so many negative reviews & don’t understand. I first went to him just expecting a typical psychiatrist. I didn’t want to talk or have “therapy”. I guess I felt my self-diagnoses was perfect & just wanted my Rx & to move on.Boy was I wrong! BC of Dr. Storper my life is so much happier. He’s helped me in ways I didn’t even realize I needed. It didn't happen overnight. But with his guidance, I’ve become all the things I’ve always strived to be!
Dr Storper is very dry and does not allow me to explain a condition or experience. He controls a situation and cuts you off just to suggest a new medication. I believe he should suggest some less evasive techniques or supplements before meds with side effects.
When my husband spoke to Dr.Storper he referred to me as an inhuman thing! That is completely unprofessional to say the least. Not only that, but our sessions lasted all of 1 minute and I'm pretty sure he only heard half of what I said. I would rate no stars if I could.
Dr. Storper speaks the truth. I would agree that if you're looking for a shoulder to cry on or someone to empathize with your nutty behavior, you should look elsewhere. He seeks to teach patients to be more self-aware so that they can enjoy life and save intrapersonal relationships. He's a mental illness expert and will get you to a better place.
After his office called asking me to reschedule the day before my appointment, upon arrival I had to wait over an hour past my appointment time before getting to see the dr. He was totally unprepared for my visit and had misplaced all of the information that I had faxed in prior to my appointment.
