Well, another day, another neurologist who won't listen to me... but would probably listen to a hypnotist who graduated from a 2 wk online course as long as they manufactured some trauma "memories" for me to have been anxiously repressing my whole life.
The doctors in sports orthopedics here get 5 stars, but my issue is with the woman who claims to be the front desk manager (looks to be in mid 30s, shorter, and middle eastern). This is the third time she has been rude and unwilling to schedule my follow up appointments. Today was the last straw. The desk that normally does the rescheduling for ortho was unmanned (as you can see in the photo). It was left unmanned for 15 minutes before a security guard sent me up front. I’ve been here a few times for the same day clinic and they are generally pretty good about seeing you in a timely manner. My complaint is mainly about the neurology department. My wife has to come here for 5 consecutive days for infusions and she has very bad anxiety/panic about the whole thing due to complications that happened last time. They will not let me sit beside her to comfort her while she gets those infusions even though she is in a SEPERATE room with a CHAIR right beside her. arrived at 8:02 for blood work, there were two people ahead of me and i was still done by 8:25! super quick and easy. also the lady who handled my blood draws was very kind, she asked me if i was okay before and after and i told her i her this was my first time :) she was very kind and efficient with everything
First impressions are everything... Today was my first interaction with a Henry Ford clinic and i wasn't impressed. I had my helper schedule a doctors appointment with your customer service person named Ella. Ella was extremely rude with my helper it made me so upset i took her phone a few times because i just couldn't wrap my brain around your staff being so rude to her. I hope the doctor is nothing like your customer service person!!
