This office used to provide excellent care a few years ago, but ever since the new administration took over, there have been consistent issues with the new office staff. One employee in particular, named Stephanie, has exhibited extremely rude behavior that has made me decide never to return to this doctor’s office. If I could give this office a 0 I would , I have been going to this office well over 10 plus years I had Dr Cardellio and I absolutely loved him ! Then when he left I had Dr Smalls and she was amazing always understanding and would listen to your concerns (as I’m disabled ) she knew what I could and couldn’t do and what my needs were . Well when she had moved I am now with Dr Kreit and she is HORRIBLE she never listens to my concerns , and thinks that I’m “faking “ my disability. I am extremely disappointed with the experience my husband had at this location. A medical assistant named Stephanie was not only unprofessional, but also disturbing in her behavior. She lacked compassion, displayed a cold and detached attitude, and acted in a way that felt completely inappropriate for a healthcare setting. Her demeanor was unsettling and unacceptable for someone entrusted with patient care. I sincerely hope management takes this seriously and addresses the issue. So I'll start by saying the office staff are very polite and helpful, I have zero issue there, they were sweethearts. My main complaint is with Dr. Heitmann. I felt completely unheard in my visit with him. I understand hesitation to prescribe controlled substances, but I find it highly distasteful to tell your patient, who has been taking this medication, that they don't need it and to try something else. My medical experience and the care I received was wonderful. I loved the nurse and the PA. The PA took a lot of time with me and I felt heard and understood. The office staff is questionable. When I first made the appointment, I had trouble verbalizing my issues and the scheduler immediately stated they don't prescribe narcotics. It is also VERY hard to contact the office staff. They don't always answer the phone and there is not option to leave a voicemail. Sometimes my calls have been rejected multiple times.
