Please please do not use this hospital.  Your family member/loved one's life could be at stake.  Horrendous care of patients.  Physicians are very unprofessional and even unethical.  We had a terrible, very dangerous  experience.   Please go elsewhere.

Please do NOT use this Hospital if you value your life or a family member. They are way understaffed to even do the basics for patient's in patient care. They have outdate equipment and uncaring upper management that compromises a patient's safety while there. IE no hospital beds with a remote for neck patient's whom are required not to move their neck any way but straight ahead. (Meaning every adjustment had to be made by staff only). Which if you are lucky might come by within a half hour to help... I already stated the sh... read more

Cancer sucks! The treatment is just as bad, however the staff made it a whole lot easier. From the ladies at the front desk that great you with a smile and your name, you feel welcome. The radiation therapist are fantastic! They are friendly, smiling and professional. They cared for me as an individual and made sure my needs were met. If it wasn't for this team I would have dreaded going to radiation everyday. My hats off to the entire team! Thank you, Sue Boc Steele

This ER dept of nurses needs to be taught bed side manners and common respect when interacting with patients. Melissa whom was working in the ER dept on 02/19 /25 approximately between the hours of 3pm-5pm has zero bedside manners. She was so disrespectful and rude to me because she wanted to continue to poke me with a huge needle and kept bullying and trying to invalidate my feelings and opinions & told me “that’s what happens when you come to the ER” and also told me I should close my eyes, she definitely is not in the rig... read more

Avoid St. John hospital located at 22101 Moross Rd, Detroit, MI, at all costs. The quality of care is subpar, and they grossly neglect patients, even risking their lives. The staff, including nurses and physicians, are unprofessional and indifferent to their responsibilities. Everything is so unimportant to this place. You are just another way of income. The word STAT means nothing to these people! Is just another way of say we will get to it when we get a chance. Most of the nurses are great in trying to get you the help you need but once it's out of their hands, good luck!

I had initially written a poor review and then removed it thinking I could give them the benefit of the doubt. After a second visit within a week, the experience was the same. Aggressive and rude staff with those coming in- trying to enforce unwritten rules, accusing children of stealing snacks from the vending machine. No Clear indication of how long you will be waiting to be seen. Truly a cruel place to be if you are sick. I would recommend driving anywhere else.
