Let me start with a positive Dr Derby is only reason why I’ve stayed. She listens and she knows mental health. Now the not so great. The staff is short handed and ones who work here are stressed out. It shows in the past few years. Appointments are always late or they canceled last minute. They don’t have counseling for trauma patients. The main nurse refused to see me because of my service dog I found out. Just because she don’t like dogs. I don’t recommend this place unless you have no options like what happened to me.
This is the place I first went to when I made it known my struggles with mental health. My mother found the closest place, via recommendation from a school counselor, and I have been with them since 2020 I believe. I have since become clean from many self harming behaviors, as well as went into therapy which has helped me so much. I absolutely love Natalie the therapist, she is such a good therapist and I enjoy talking to her even if it’s just about random things sometimes instead of therapy. I walked in and I was patiently waiting and a lady grabbed a hold of me and asked why I was my hands were shaking and I told her because I haven't ate lunch yet and so she grabbed me took me to the back room slamming into the wall told me only God knows what I've done grab me by my shirt ripped me off the door and threw me out the front door in front of a bunch of witnesses....kilana keyshawna seen it all they fired her.. and I asked them why would you let people do that to people they said never happened it never happened t... read more
The website is dishonest about business hours and the staff looks for every opportunity to turn tax paying citizens away. You would be better off petitioning your district leaders and city council members to employ better staff, than making an attempt to come here. This place SUCKS. The staff should be replaced IMMEDIATELY
